Following a very pleasing Wyong Shire Cup and District Lightning, numbers at Mingara have dwindled dramatically.
John Pascoe has contacted The Entrance Town Centre Manager with a view to involving the Saturday morning public in some chess near the big board at the waterfront. But otherwise we are running out of ideas to attract players.
If you have been thinking of playing, now is the time to front up, because their seems little future for the club unless its regular playing base is expanded. Please pass the word to any of your chess-playing acquaintances.
