Mingara
Mingara "B" has won the Central Coast Teams Tournament 2003 with 15 points from a possible 24. Mingara "A" took second place with 14 points, they managed to overtake Toukley by getting a 4:0 white wash of Gosford C in the last round. Toukley finished third with 13 points. The close finish shows the ratings cap of 6000 points has produced teams that can compete at a similar standard from all the clubs. The best individual performances were by Sead Krajina Mingara "B" with 5.5/6 , Gary Losh Toukley / Mingara "B" with 5.5/7 and Rosa Pritchard Mingara "A" with 4/5 . The biggest upset win of the tournament was Les Porters defeat of Val Velyvis a rating difference of 247 points. Well done Les.
