The club meets weekly in the Mingara Club Legends Function Room
on Monday nights at 7:30 pm to socialise before competition games start at 8:00  pm.
The room we use is downstairs and easily accessible from the carpark between the club complex and Wyong Road.

We endeavour to run an interesting variety of competitions throughout the year to keep players at all levels keen on improving their game.

Don't forget that the club offers free trial membership to those who would like to see how it works.

**  Regular junior coaching and competition continues at Mingara -
Wednesday from 5 to 6pm.  **
The group expects to start small and grow as word spreads. Please pass the message to any youngsters you think may be interested. See how the group is going!

Primary organisers are Gary Losh (4390 8176 or glosh51@dodo.com.au )
and Sharyn Calder (0414 292 315).
We'll also welcome any senior players who would like to help.

This Week's Puzzle

Our puzzle editor is presenting a range of problems from a series of themes. The difficulty level ranges from Easy through Medium to Hard and Very Hard. There will always be an Easy and a Medium puzzle and either a Hard or a very Hard one.

Some of these problems finish with a mate but often you will only have to find the best sequence of moves that put White or Black as specified in a clearly winning position.

We have a whole new page with 3 problems of varying difficulty as well as some of the themes to be used in future puzzles. Click here to see them.
